Azhorra - Basic Enemy

Azhorra is from Forsaken Renegade, a dark cyberpunk platformer combined with hack-n-slash elements set just before the apocalypse that has been brought down by the Eldritch. The player will find themselves wandering the town of Vexion, a city overrun with these dastardly creatures that spread malice everywhere. One of the first creatures the PC will come across is known as an Azhorra, a flying mob leech type Eldritch that is abundant throughout the city. Once the creature is able to see the PC, it rushes headfirst jetting through the air. If the player doesn’t react quick enough, the Azhorra will latch its tentacles engulfing the PC’s face while drain their health. While this is occurring, the neck will shrink while the head grows larger and larger until it eventually explodes, which causes the player to lose a great deal of health. If the player is able to get one slash on the creature before it attaches, it loses its tentacles along with its ability to latch onto the PC leaving it susceptible to another swing to finish it off. Regardless of how the creature dies, the remains will seemingly vanish into nothingness by absorbing into the ground. As a basic enemy, the Azhorra is equivalent to a mosquito in that it doesn’t matter to anyone if they all die off or not.

Using Unreal Engine, I've created a more dynamic idle animation.
Here is a turnaround that includes a wireframe, textured and untextured character mesh. Rendered in Blender.
This is a two part animation, the beginning stage is the idle, which is portrayed a bit better in the previous video. I used the basic rig I created to put together a small animation.
